 Birchwood

      Our new building enables us to serve additional members in an environment specifically tailored to the special needs of those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias.

     The Birchwood campaign has a goal of $2 million.  To date, the amount raised is more than $1,700,000.

Birchwood is located at 8151 Glencarin Blvd., Fort Wayne.   Take Indiana 14 (Illinois Road) about 1 mile west of the I-69 intersection, turn south at Bandido's and follow Glencarin.

 Our Mission:  To provide a haven for those with dementia and a respite for their caregivers.

   Birchwood is a not-for-profit daycare facility for older adults who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, other types of dementia, or physical or mobility impairments. 

 After a performance, the Ft Wayne Dance Collective poses  with our members.

Please consider a tour of Birchwood.  We are open Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (by reservation only.)  Potential clients, caregivers, friends and family are always welcome.
